This new series combines our perennially popular, classic Old Leather covers with a convenient and elegant slim book format.

Capturing the beauty of 15th-century Italian bound books, our Old Leather series draws inspiration from these antique bindings, which were often made of brown or red morocco (fine goatskin leather), and decorated using delicate foliage patterns in gold tooling, a method introduced to Europe from the Middle East.

Unique, tactile and so very pleasing to the eye, these journals feature a subtly weighted strap for secure closing, satin ribbon place markers and a memento pouch to store the treasures of a life well-lived. The superb faux leather covers, high-quality paper, binding and design are a marvel to the eye and touch.

Our classic faux Old Leather, although often mistaken for real leather, are printed covers with a leather-like pattern.
