The purpose of this newsletter is to help enliven your practice of Ascension if you already know how to ascend. In case you receive this newsletter and haven't yet had the privilege to learn to ascend we hope this might inspire you to enquire deeper into what Ascension is all about. We will also keep you in touch with the current activities that The Ishaya Foundation is offering. If you have any personal wishes or suggestions or experiences you wish to share please feel free to give feedback. This is a work in progress. In this newsletter we will be touching many issues that concern the process of Ascending and living a life of integrity. A life that is founded on the ascending emotions of Praise, Gratitude and Love. We will also be reviewing some of the basic material about the practice of Ascension. One can’t hear the simple truth enough times. Auditing first spheres is always a great thing for this very reason. As we expand our awareness through ascending our ability to hear and see develops as well. Ascension is not only a tool to meditate, but it is a tool to integrate life back into the perfect fluidity and gracefulness of the present moment. This state of being already exists within us and we need to do so very little to experience it and let it transform our lives. Nataraja Ishaya The Importance of Guidance The teachers of Ascension are in service to expanding consciousness and in service to all those who have committed themselves to that purpose. An important part of the path of ascending is the feedback that you can get from a teacher who has already been traversing the path before you and has first hand experience of what Ascension can do and how it can be more effectively applied. I encourage all of you to use the teachers and seek help and guidance. This path was never meant to be traveled relying solely on your own strength and wisdom. Every teacher knows this and applies the same approach in their own growth to greater awareness of the Ascendant One. Higher guidance is invaluable if one is to seriously approach higher states of consciousness and even full self-realization in this lifetime. “There are only three requirements. There must be 1) a functioning nervous system, capable of thought. There must also be 2) a suitable vehicle for the mind to follow in this process of stilling, a vehicle which naturally and effortlessly pulls the mind inward to ever deeper levels of silence, until even the faintest level of activity is Ascended and the conscious mind experiences its true form, the higher Self. And there also needs to be 3) competent guidance to ensure the necessary feedback that verifies the correctness of the practice. Thus it is extremely difficult for tapes or books to teach techniques validly, for the third requirement is missing. Even if the prospective student is proceeding correctly, how would she or he ever know without verification from a qualified instructor?” Enlightenment!, Pada I. Sutra 2 -MSI- The Science of Ascension The science of Ascension is a systematic and graduated methodology for developing the mind. “Ascension” means to rise above. What happens during the practice of Ascension is that the individual rises above his/her previous state of conscious awareness and begins to experience the higher states of appreciation of Reality that lie hidden inside. This creates a state of problem-free living. “Problem free” does not mean challenge-free: life does not become flat or passive; problem-free does mean that inner stability is greater than any challenge from life; the inner creativity available for use is greater than any problem. Any challenge can be and is met and solved in the simplest, most graceful and most beneficial way once this state has developed. The mechanics of Ascension are quite simple. What is necessary is to learn how to listen: to the people in our Universe, to our world, to our bodies, to our minds, to our hearts. Every moment of every day we are being told everything we need to know to live in complete freedom, harmony and joy. From fear, we usually choose not to hear. Our judgments of limitation, of good and evil, have chained us into small lives of pain and suffering. To be free, it is necessary to acknowledge what we have done and are continuing to do to ourselves to keep from listening.
